Social Media Canva
Ostklick is a German NGO that strengthens democratic values through facts, information and education. With its content it primarily targets people with an ethnic background of the former Soviet Union.
For its Instagram channel, ostklick needed support to develop a general design concept and establish it in its feed. The challenge was that the NGO publishes a lot of information in different types of posts. Existing formats, such as event announcements, interviews and facts, were to be adopted and transferred to the new design.
To provide ostklick with the design as quickly as possible, I created various post formats directly in Canva. These could be taken over and published directly by the NGOs social media management.
The design consists of 3 levels which lie at an angle of 3° above each other. Depending on the posting format and content, the size of the layers varies.
The logo and an optional tag are always in the same position on the top layer. The fonts are selected to complement the brand font and at the same time enhance the look of the design.
The result: Thanks to four different posting formats with a total of 15 variants and 5 icons for story highlights, the overall impression of the feed is much tidier and more consistent.
By making the posts available in Canva, the social media team also saves time and effort when creating new posts.
